The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and takes pride in strong customer service and communication skills. Dermatology experience is a plus, with a schedule of full-time, Monday–Friday and a pay range of $18.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred.
• Dermatology or specialty practice experience a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when needed.
• Collect co-pays, balances, and payments.
• Enter and update patient information accurately in EMR.
• Confirm appointments and manage daily schedules.
• Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality standards.
