Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Middletown, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator to support patients, providers and staff at the Middletown Office. The role handles front office duties, scheduling, and patient communication within a busy dermatology practice.

Ideal candidates will have healthcare experience, EMR and scheduling system familiarity, and strong communication and organizational skills. Open weekday hours with rotating Saturdays, including some weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Medical receptionist experience is preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all front office duties efficiently and professionally.
• Manage scheduling-related tasks and online leads in a timely manner.
• Create a positive phone and in-person experience for every caller.
• Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stock supplies as needed.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
