Dermatology Specialists is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our growing private practice in the Twin Cities. The role involves greeting patients, registering and scheduling, and guiding them through cosmetic product education and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A high school diploma is required; influenza vaccination is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; dermatology experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Influenza vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Checks in patients in a polite, prompt, helpful manner and schedules appointments.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and collects co-payments.
• Processes payments from patients for medical and cosmetic services.
• Answers multi-line telephone and directs calls as appropriate.
• Sells and educates patients on cosmetic retail products and procedures.
• Prepares patient charts and schedules for the next business day.
• Ensures patient paperwork is completed annually and assists with forms.
• Data entry of patient demographics and insurance information.
