Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator in a fast-paced dermatology clinic. You will manage greeting patients, scheduling, and intake while maintaining accurate records and smooth front desk operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of medical front desk experience, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10, and strong communication skills. Dermatology experience is preferred; EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working at the front desk in a medical office/clinic.
• Prior dermatology or cosmetic experience is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of medical dermatology terms/CPT, ICD-10.
• Quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle front desk operations.
• Prepare patient paperwork before appointments and update patient information in Nextech.
• Verify insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, and collect copays/balances at check-in/out.
• Identify payer sources and handle routine inquiries; forward non-routine requests to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
