Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based District Manager to drive sales across Philadelphia, Allentown, Lancaster PA and surrounding areas. You will lead in-field teams, develop and execute the District Sales Plan, and monitor progress to hit targets within a dynamic biotechnology landscape.

You will coach managers, analyze business performance, and communicate market insights to cross-functional partners while upholding AbbVie's standards and credentialing requirements for access to facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance.
• Minimum four years pharmaceutical sales management experience.
• Ability to articulate scientific aspects and disease state information.
• Ability to deliver candid feedback and develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-field activity to achieve targets and maximize market opportunities.
• Ensure smooth collaboration in day-to-day and long-term business execution.
• Present market and franchise perspective to lead teams with product/disease state knowledge.
• Coach and develop direct and indirect team members to raise performance.
• Provide direction to internal partners in business planning and adhere to AbbVie Ways of Working.
