Job summary

Memorial Regional Health is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Assistant (Dermatology) or Registered Nurse to support dermatology clinic operations during daytime hours. The role includes patient preparation, data collection, medication administration, and collaboration with providers to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The position requires certification or RN licensure, BLS, and clinic experience. The role is non-exempt and involves standard hospital-based policies and infection control

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Course.
• Must be Certified or Registered.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or to be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire).
• One (1) year experience with patients in a clinic setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Show patients to the examination room and prepare them for the provider.
• Record patients’ medical history, vaccine status, vital statistics, and medication reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance with department, clinic, and state/federal regulations and policies.
• Assist providers with tests and procedures.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as per standards of care.
