Job summary

Golden State Dermatology seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to support multiple trials under the Principal Investigator. You will handle startup, regulatory tasks, participant recruitment, data entry in EDC, safety reporting, and study close-out. Travel to the Walnut Creek site is required.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in clinical research, knowledge of ICH-GCP, and experience with EDC systems. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical research experience preferred, including pharmaceutical or industry-sponsored trials.
• Experience working with sponsors and CROs preferred.
• Working knowledge of ICH‑GCP and clinical trial regulations.
• Experience with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple studies, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer and digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), PDF editing software, and web‑based applications.
• Comfortable traveling frequently to the Walnut Creek study site.
• Clinical research certification such as ACRP-CP, CCRC, CCRP, or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-up and regulatory activities for assigned studies.
• Communicate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, monitors, and study personnel regarding activities.
• Schedule and conduct study visits according to protocol and timelines.
• Track milestones and follow-up, identify issues and expedite resolutions.
• Receive, organize, and maintain study supplies and equipment.
• Process and ship laboratory specimens according to protocol requirements.
• Enter study data into EDC systems within required timelines.
• Maintain organized study files and documentation for monitoring and regulatory review.
• Identify and escalate safety issues and protocol deviations as needed.
• Travel to Walnut Creek study site for monitoring and coordination.
