Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to coordinate the daily clinical operation of the Dermatology clinic at Sibley. You will supervise staff, resolve scheduling and service issues, and ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination while maintaining excellent patient relations.

You will lead and mentor staff, organize staff meetings, and improve clinical processes in collaboration with the Medical Director to support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
• Four years of related experience, including lead or supervisory experience.
• Additional education may substitute for up to one year of required experience per the JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operation in the dermatology clinic.
• Supervise and mentor clinic staff; lead day-to-day operations.
• Organize staff meetings and coordinate interdepartmental activities.
• Assist patients, referring physicians, and third-party carriers with patient-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain clinic statistics and reports using databases or spreadsheets.
• Ensure pre-authorizations and patient cost information are communicated clearly.
