Job summary

Qualifications

• One or more years of recent clinic assistant experience in a physician office or hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support certification within 90 days if hired by The Health Network or Academic Medical System.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient treatments under supervision of healthcare provider.
• Perform basic tasks, screening procedures and specimen collection.
• Screen for and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care given; maintain equipment and supplies.
• May perform clerical duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, billing and registration.
