Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant (Certified/Registered) for our dermatology team. This on-site, full-time role supports patient care and administrative tasks, including vital signs, exam prep, and scheduling.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification, and CPR/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days. Monday–Friday, day shift; no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certification CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and chief complaint for the visit.
• Run spirometry tests and EKGs and assist examinations.
• Review patient records for completeness of ordered studies.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and equipment functioning.
• Coordinate and facilitate referrals and pre-certifications.
• Support patient flow between secretary and nursing staff.
• Work within medical/clinic assistant scope of practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
