Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of clinic experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs.
• Coordinate scheduling, answer phones, and register patients.
• Run spirometry and EKGs; assist physicians during exams.
• Review patient records for completed studies and reports.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and equipment is functioning.
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate with billing and office staff.
• Operate within the scope of medical/clinic assistants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
