Job summary

Tribeca Skin Center in New York is seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Assistant to support doctors in routine and cosmetic dermatology procedures, including prepping rooms, assisting with biopsies, numbing patients, and guiding them through visits.

Qualifications

• Must be certified and comfortable in performing blood draws (phlebotomy certification).
• Previous experience medical assisting in a dermatology office or demonstrated interest in aesthetics.
• Strong communication skills.

• Pleasant and outgoing personality to make patients feel welcome and at ease.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical tasks to support doctors: setting up for biopsies, assisting in cosmetic procedures, numbing patients, performing blood draws.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, keeping the flow of the office at an optimum level.
• Enter chief complaint into EMR.
