Job summary

The W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Dermatologist for the Specialty Care section within Medicine Service.

The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient dermatology care, manage ongoing conditions, and collaborate with other services to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role emphasizes quality assurance, participation in CME, and involvement in educational programs while offering VA benefits, EDRP eligibility, and a flexible schedule within a 4/5

Qualifications

• Physician must hold an MD with full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Residency in dermatology or approved core specialty with board eligibility.
• English language proficiency for clinical communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient dermatology care.
• Perform skin and nail biopsies, simple excisions and basic dermatologic procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff and midlevel providers within Medicine Service.
• Engage in education, quality assurance, and CME activities.
