Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a physician in Dermatology to deliver comprehensive patient care at the SBYVAMC, inpatient and outpatient. The incumbent will manage patients with chronic conditions and collaborate with allied staff to optimize outcomes.

The position includes participation in CME, quality and safety initiatives, and adherence to VA policies. A full and unrestricted US medical license is required; board certification preferred for faculty

Qualifications

• Must have active medical license in the US.
• Completion of residency in an accredited core specialty.
• Board certification preferred for faculty status; otherwise documented equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Manage patients with chronic dermatologic conditions and coordinate with services.
• Document and communicate clearly with patients and staff to coordinate care.
• Collaborate with midlevel providers and physicians with clear communication.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and CME activities.
