Job summary

The North Florida/ South Georgia VA Healthcare System invites a dermatologist to join the Primary Care Service team in Gainesville, FL. The clinician will deliver comprehensive dermatology care to veterans, performing procedures and collaborating with primary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship is required unless a waiver applies.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school and board eligibility/certification in Dermatology.
• Current full, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Completion of accredited Dermatology residency or equivalent training.
• Eligibility for VA appointment and ability to pass pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive dermatology care to Veterans in the VA system.
• Perform procedures such as cryosurgery, excisions, biopsies, and phototherapy.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams to coordinate patient care.
• Manage patient schedules consistent with VA guidelines and duties.
