Job summary

The Dermatologist will provide professional medical dermatology services at the Dallas VA Medical Center and affiliated clinics within the VA North Texas Health Care System. The role includes inpatient and outpatient duties, dermatologic procedures, and coordination with the broader VA care team to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Open continuous announcement with periodic referrals; EDRP eligibility, recruitment/relocation incentives, and a strong total rewards package are available.

Qualifications

• MD degree required from LCME/COCA-approval streams or equivalent.
• Active medical license in the US (any state).
• Board certification in Dermatology or eligibility per facility bylaws.

Responsibilities

• Provide dermatology consultations and clinical care on inpatient/outpatient services.
• Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, lesion excisions and minor dermatologic procedures.
• Review and manage dermatology consults, e-consults, and patient care plans across facilities.
• Coordinate with the primary team and ensure timely documentation in the CPRS.
