Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs invites a Dermatologist to join the Kansas City facility.

You will diagnose and treat a wide range of skin diseases, perform procedures, and provide both outpatient and inpatient care within a comprehensive dermatology service. The position offers opportunities for teaching, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and involvement in education and research initiatives.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship as required by VA policy.
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory.
• Residency completed in an approved core dermatology program.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in dermatology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat adult patients with dermatologic diseases.
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies and excisions.
• Provide outpatient and inpatient dermatology consultations as needed.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately.
• Participate in education of trainees and medical students.
