Job summary

W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Dermatologist to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient skin care. The dermatologist will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and perform key procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy. The role supports education, quality assurance, and VA CME activities.

Open to physicians meeting VA basic requirements with current licensure and board certification in dermatology. EDRP benefits and potential incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Doctor of Medicine or equivalent, and board-eligible/certified in dermatology.
• English language proficiency for clinical duties.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatology patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Coordinate patient care with other services within the VA system.
• Perform procedures such as excisions, skin/nail biopsy, electro-surgery, cryotherapy.
• Participate in departmental education, quality assurance, and CME activities.
