Mission Staffing is seeking an experienced Futures Clearing Operations professional to support clearing, margin, and cash management for a leading financial services client in New Jersey.

The role requires hands-on daily margin processing, cash movements, and post-trade resolution with familiarity of CME/ICE Clear, along with strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in futures clearing or exchange traded derivatives operations.
• Strong understanding of futures margin, cash management, collateral, and clearing/settlement processes.
• Hands-on experience with daily margin processing and margin calls.
• Familiarity with CME, LCH, or ICE Clear.
• Experience with futures and options post-trade operations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily futures and listed derivatives clearing operations.
• Manage daily margin processing, including initial and variation margin and margin calls.
• Oversee cash management activities, including wire payments and funding requirements.
• Monitor clearing and settlement activity and resolve trade breaks and operational issues.
• Support collateral management and ensure margin requirements are met on time.
• Coordinate with clearinghouses, exchanges, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Reconcile cash and margin balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Support client clearing activity and the full trade lifecycle for exchange traded derivatives.

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Futures Clearing Operations professional to support its clearing, margin, and cash management functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in futures and listed derivatives, with hands on experience managing daily margin activity, cash movements, and clearing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily futures and listed derivatives clearing operations
• Manage daily margin processing, including initial margin, variation margin, and margin calls
• Oversee cash management activities, including wire payments, cash movements, and funding requirements
• Monitor clearing and settlement activity and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational exceptions
• Support collateral management and ensure margin requirements are met within established deadlines
• Work with clearinghouses, exchanges, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth post trade operations
• Reconcile cash and margin balances and investigate discrepancies
• Support client clearing activity and the full trade lifecycle for exchange traded derivatives
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to operational controls and deadlines

Requirements:

• Experience in futures clearing, listed derivatives, or exchange traded derivatives operations
• Strong understanding of futures margin, cash management, collateral, and clearing and settlement processes
• Hands on experience with daily margin processing, margin calls, and wire payments
• Familiarity with clearinghouses such as CME, LCH, or ICE Clear
• Experience with futures and options and related post trade operations
• Knowledge of platforms such as GMI, FIS GMI, Calypso, or Murex preferred
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage time sensitive transactions and resolve operational issues in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
