U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) seeks a Deputy State Director for Outreach. This is a management level position based in Seattle, Washington. Responsibilities include day-to-day management of the Senator’s outreach team, providing strategic guidance on outreach objectives, and ensuring outreach goals are achieved. This position will work closely with Senator Murray’s outreach, policy, and communications teams to assist constituents and communities across Washington state.
The ideal candidate has significant professional experience in community outreach, understanding of Congressional offices, strong ties to Washington state and managerial experience. Additionally, the individual will be a team player, highly organized, excellent communicator, and problem solver.
The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 and is commensurate with experience.
