Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for Space Systems to lead a multidisciplinary team in designing, analyzing, building, and testing spaceflight hardware and ground support equipment.

You will execute project plans within budget and schedule, report status to NASA/MSFC stakeholders, and step in as Program Manager when needed; role requires strong leadership and extensive defense/space domain experience.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field; 15+ years in Program/Project Management for spaceflight hardware.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cost/schedule performance experience.
• Experience with NASA standards and ISO/AS9100 knowledge.
• Travel up to +/-15% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline teams to design, analyze, build, and test space hardware.
• Manage plans within budget and schedule; deliver status reports.
• Represent the project at MSFC meetings and with stakeholders.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Contracts.
• Drive profitability: margins, bookings, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction.
