Job summary

APCO Technologies SA is seeking an experienced Site Manager/Engineer to support the Site Manager in daily tasks across heavy machinery projects. You will maintain client communications, report progress, and help plan workload and schedules for on-site teams.

The role requires extensive on-site experience, ability to read technical drawings, and strong safety focus, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Power BI. A dynamic, international environment and long-term development await.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in machinery industry and on-site activities.
• Mechanics / Electromechanics degree or engineering degree.
• Ability to read technical drawings (mechanical / electrical).
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Fast-thinking and adapt quickly to any situation.
• Attention to safety, detail and quality.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, Power BI, Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in all daily tasks and site responsibilities.
• Maintain daily communication with the customer, report progress and address technical topics during meetings.
• Help plan and manage the team’s workload, priorities and schedule.
• Manage on-site activities including erection, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safety, efficiency and quality.
• Contact and report daily with our client to show progress and address technical topics in meetings.
• Ensure project management instructions are followed, comply with budget and provide regular internal reporting on site issues.
• Supervise and contract subcontractors.
• Maintain regular contact with technical support team at head office to receive support and provide updates.

Your mission :
