Qualifications

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be at least 18.5 years old at application and 19 at hire.
• Background free of felony convictions and domestic violence related convictions.
• Must meet LESB certification eligibility or have 40 college credits.

Responsibilities

• Patrol roads and highways in marked patrol squads.
• Respond to and investigate calls for service, crime reports, and traffic accidents.
• Assist in search and rescue operations and provide public safety.
• Transport persons in custody to and from court and other locations.
• Prepare accurate and concise reports.
