Job summary

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office is seeking Deputy Sheriffs who are professional, highly motivated, and community‑oriented. The role involves patrol, responding to incidents, and enforcing laws to protect Kenosha County.

A take‑home patrol vehicle program is available for probationary Deputies in the Patrol Division. Benefits include participation in the Wisconsin retirement system, health and dental insurance, and provided uniform and duty gear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and LESB certification or 40 college credits from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Patrol roads and highways in marked patrol squads.
• Respond to and investigate calls for service, reports of crime, and traffic accidents.
• Assist in providing search and rescue operations.
• Ensure public safety through enforcement of federal, state, and local laws.
• Securely transport persons in custody to and from court and other locations.
