Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to protect life and property, respond to calls, and issue citations.
• Patrols coastlines and waterways; enforces boating laws and conducts safety checks.
• Protects open spaces; responds to disturbances, tests emergency repairs, and testifies in court as needed.
• Serve legal processes, locate individuals, transport them to jail or court, and prepare reports.
• Present crime prevention information to community groups and schools.
