McPherson County Sheriff's Office is seeking a full-time Deputy Sheriff to operate on a 12-hour shift cycle in McPherson County, Kansas. The position involves providing general law enforcement services, maintaining public safety, and upholding constitutional rights within the agency’s jurisdiction.
Applicants must meet state and local requirements, including U.S. citizenship, being at least 21, possessing a valid Kansas driver’s license, and a clean criminal record.

Providing general law enforcement services within the jurisdictional limits of the agency, preserving public peace, protecting life and property, preventing crime, and safeguarding the constitutional rights of all citizens encountered.
All work equipment will be supplied, including a take-home vehicle. McPherson County offers competitive benefits and paid time off.
Hourly: non-certified at $24.00 and certified at $24.96, depending on qualifications.
United States Citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, valid Kansas driver's license, good moral character, and no felony or domestic violence convictions.
