Job summary

i3 Consulting is seeking a Deputy Project Manager with Oracle EBS Financials expertise for a Federal Operations and Maintenance contract. Deep functional/technical SME capabilities in AP, AR, GL, Payments, and FedAdmin are required.

You will lead Oracle teams, ensure quality assurance, coordinate with cybersecurity and audit teams, and support agile monthly deployments while managing non-production environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in Oracle Federal Financials/EBS functional-technical SME roles and Oracle EBS R12.2.x support with heavy customization.
• 5+ years of experience managing/leading Oracle EBS Financials projects.
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, integrations, customizations, environments, and upgrade dependencies.
• Experience with Oracle developer tools (Forms/Reports/OAFs, APEX, JDeveloper) and programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x upgrades.
• Knowledge of data archiving tools and archiving Oracle data.
• Understanding of Federal Accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Providing Oracle functional/technical SME support to analyze and design Oracle EBS COTS and Custom solutions, interfaces and reporting.
• Managing application teams and improving development and testing processes.
• Serving as a functional/technical QA reviewer for EBS configurations, interfaces, and docs.
• Collaborating with cybersecurity and audit teams to ensure EBS environment compliance.
• Managing Risk Management, Change Management, and Change Control efforts.
• Working with PM to ensure SLA compliance and report to the client.
• Supporting release planning in an Agile/Hybrid environment with monthly deployments.
• Managing instance planning for non-production clones/refreshes and SDLC/operational activities.
• Collaborating with implementation teams to support consolidation and modernization efforts.

Deputy Project Manager (Oracle EBS Financials expertise)

We are seeking a Deputy Project Manager, with Oracle EBS Financials Functional/Technical experience for an Oracle EBS Operations and Maintenance Support contract at a Federal agency. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise across Oracle EBS financial modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payments, FedAdmin).

You will be responsible for:

• Providing Oracle functional/technical subject matter expertise to support the Project Manager and client in analysis and design of Oracle EBS COTS and Custom solutions, interface development, and reporting initiatives.
• Managing application teams, and providing Oracle functional/technical subject matter expertise to maintain and improve development and testing processes.
• Serve as a functional/technical QA reviewer, reviewing EBS configuration changes, interface designs, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and audit teams to ensure EBS environments are compliant with security and data protection requirements.
• Managing and supporting Risk Management, Change Management, and Change Control efforts.
• Working with Project Manager to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and report on SLA compliance to the client.
• Supporting proactive release planning in an Agile/Hybrid agile environment with monthly deployments.
• Managing and supporting instance planning of Non Production instances for cloning/refreshes and SDLC/operational activities.
• Working with Project Manager and collaborating with implementation teams to support the client's consolidation and modernization efforts

Required Qualifications:
