Job summary

Dine Development Corporation in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support leadership and day-to-day execution of a prospective DOE SPRPMO Management and Technical Support Services task order. The DPM acts as PM's deputy, coordinating across functional areas and ensuring staffing and deliverables discipline.

This on-site role requires coordinating financial, business, technical management, administrative support, and special projects, with a focus on disciplined quality

Qualifications

• Demonstrated program/project-management on complex Federal or regulated programs.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, workload, and deliverables.
• Ability to serve as a credible deputy to a senior PM with sound judgment.
• Documented process improvements and measurable results.
• Strong written and oral communication, executive briefings, and coordination.
• On-site work in New Orleans and ability to travel.
• Willingness to sign a two-year Key Personnel Letter of Commitment.
• Ability to meet DOE security and site-access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager's deputy and assume PM responsibilities during absences.
• Coordinate across financial, business, technical management, admin support, and special projects.
• Track workload, staffing, milestones, deliverables, risks, and corrective actions; elevate issues with solutions.
• Maintain cross-training, backup coverage, and surge capacity for workload spikes.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of deliverables with quality control.
• Support transition, onboarding, clearance readiness, and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with subcontractor integration and resource allocation.
• Support performance measurement, cost reduction, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with DOE counterparts and site stakeholders while preserving boundaries.
• Serve in dual DPM/functional-lead role if staffing supports it.
• Other duties as assigned.
