Job summary

Saronic Technologies seeks a Deputy Program Manager to own execution of major shipbuilding programs across our facilities in Franklin, LA and Brownsville, TX. You will manage cost, schedule, scope, and customer outcomes from award through delivery and sustainment.

You will coordinate with production, engineering, mission packages, and government stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and effective decision making. This role requires strong leadership, program discipline, and customer fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related technical field.
• 4–6+ years in program management of large-scale production, shipbuilding, or complex defense programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ownership of cost, schedule, and scope on large programs.
• Experience with production at rate, supply chain, and delivery of large hardware systems.
• Proven ability to manage government or defense customers, contracts, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution and delivery of major shipbuilding programs from award through sustainment.
• Drive customer contract obligations, milestones, and CDRLs.
• Execute integrated program plans aligning production, engineering milestones, and integration timelines.
• Lead risk and opportunity management and escalate issues impacting cost, schedule, or performance.
• Report program health, forecasts, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Production, Engineering, Software, and Mission Services.
