Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Deputy Program Manager to lead a portfolio of execution teams in program management, data analytics, and reporting activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role will be responsible for providing coordinated delivery and execution across 9 different project management teams. The support will focus on advising team members and government stakeholders on the best processes and methodologies for government taskings, data analytics, dashboard creation, strategic planning, and other programmatic needs. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing processes to streamline data analytics and reporting across 9 project teams.
• Facilitate an agile process for team interaction, focusing on modernization initiatives and data sharing.
• Provide thought leadership on innovation and automation for project deliverables.
• Guide delivery teams of 5-15 personnel on daily, weekly, and ad-hoc tasks.
• Lead customer engagement to discuss needs, issues, and solutions.
• Support cross-discipline team members to meet project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Review project deliverables for compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee data analytics and metrics effectiveness, providing strategic insights.
• Develop and disseminate information among business and technical stakeholders.
• Establish and execute effective project communication plans.
• Analyze requirement changes and recommend solutions promptly.
• Translate complex issues into clear narratives and develop presentations using tools like PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years may be reduced with a master's degree).
• Experience with ICE-specific data and processes.

• Management experience of a program team of more than 5 personnel.

Compensation

The posted salary range is USD $145,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 per year, subject to individual factors and market conditions. The total package may include additional elements discussed during hiring. Employment is at-will, with potential salary modifications.
