Job summary

VTG Defense seeks Deputy Program Managers and Project Managers to coordinate DoD program execution, subcontractor performance, deliverables, and schedules on the AN/SQQ-89(V) USW Lifecyle Support program in Hampton Roads, VA. A Bachelor’s degree and DoD SECRET clearance are required, with PMP preferred.

Position involves coordinating QPRs, IPTs, and Government logistics, tracking action items, and supporting cost and schedule variance actions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DoD SECRET clearance or be eligible.
• 5.5 to 15 years of DoD program coordination or project management experience.
• Experience managing schedules and action item registers in NAVSEA/NAVAIR environments.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Subcontractor coordination on multi-company DoD contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor performance tracking and action item resolution.
• Maintain master deliverable schedule and track status across all SOW task areas.
• Prepare and distribute QPR briefing packages, meeting agendas, and minutes.
• Support monthly financial reporting and TI tracking invoices.
• Manage personnel roster maintenance and on-call process documentation.
• Coordinate Government-directed meeting logistics including RMC Collaborations and PQS Workshops.
• Track and resolve program action items from QPRs, IPTs, and ILS Working Groups.
• Support transition planning and incumbent data transfer at contract start.
• Assist PM in managing cost/schedule variance and corrective action plans.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $90,000-$130,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
