Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Deputy Program Manager to lead FDA-related scientific computing operations, overseeing HPC, storage, cloud services, and specialized lab systems.

You will coordinate technical teams, manage performance reporting, and ensure mission-aligned support for Tier 2 and 3 services. The role requires 10–12+ years in scientific computing or similar environments; a Public Trust is desired.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
• Year’s Experience: 10–12+ years in scientific computing, HPC operations, or complex technical environments.
• Technical Skills: Experience coordinating operations across multidisciplinary teams; HPC experience; dashboards and metrics; communication with scientists and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day scientific computing services supporting FDA research and workloads.
• Lead integration of infrastructure engineering, HPC operations, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI/ML environments.
• Produce actionable reporting, dashboards, and risk/operational metrics for stakeholders.
