Job summary

Sky Solutions is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to oversee a large CMS-facing federal technology program from Tysons Corner, VA. You will coordinate governance, risk management, and delivery across multiple streams under the Program Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
10+ years in program/project management, including large-scale technology programs.
Experience in Deputy Program Manager / Program Manager or similar leadership roles.
Experience managing multiple workstreams, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
Strong governance, executive reporting, risk/issue management, and stakeholder handling.
Leads cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid delivery models.
Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support the Program Manager in planning, governance, and delivery of the program.
Provide day-to-day leadership across multiple technical and functional workstreams.
Coordinate schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and issues.
Establish program status reporting, dashboards, metrics, and executive briefings.
Lead governance activities and senior stakeholder meetings and reviews.
Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
Coordinate across development, QA, architecture, DevSecOps, data, and business teams.
Monitor performance against objectives, schedules, and contractual commitments.
Support resource planning, onboarding, workload management, and prioritization.
Maintain relationships with Product Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders.
