Job summary

Management Concepts is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a large-scale federal Enterprise Contract Management System (CMS) training and learning support effort in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role assists the Program Manager with daily coordination, planning, tracking, and stakeholder communications, requiring residence in the DMV and travel for customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Active PMP certification and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in acquisition, finance, IT, or program management for complex programs.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workstreams, schedules, risks, issues, staffing and deliverables under the Program Manager.
• Maintain plans, logs, dashboards, and status reports for executive visibility.
• Coordinate curriculum development, training deployment, and performance support resources.
• Assist with Training Support Plan, including knowledge transfer and training environments.
• Communicate with federal stakeholders and implementation partners regularly.
• Track labor usage, budget, and task orders; support cost reporting.
