Job summary

Contracting Resources Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the DoS CA client. The DPM will oversee contractor personnel, contract operations, and performance against requirements, with responsibility for costs, schedules, and risk management.

This role may also act as Program Manager in the PM's absence, ensuring continuity and service delivery across geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience.
• Master's degree or twelve (12) years of experience.
• PMP certification required.
• Active SECRET personnel security clearance required.
• Experience in program management, contract operations, workforce coordination, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily contract operations, personnel, and resources to meet or exceed contractual requirements.
• Serve as Program Manager in the PM's absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and contract performance.
• Monitor program costs, schedules, deliverables, performance metrics, and resource reporting.
• Ensure contractor personnel adhere to established standards of conduct, internal controls, security requirements, and Government policies.
• Coordinate staffing, onboarding, workforce readiness, and resource allocation to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, performance deficiencies, and emerging risks with minimal disruption to services.
• Prepare program reports, performance assessments, and management briefings.
