Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA, seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support the Program Manager with day-to-day operations, scheduling, and cross-team coordination in a defense contracting environment.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams while engaging government stakeholders. On-site with potential remote hybridity; Secret clearance and PMI certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• PMI Certification (PMP or CAPM)
• IAM III Certification such as CISSP/CISM/GSLC

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager with day-to-day operations and schedule management
• Coordinate team activities and oversaw governance with government stakeholders
• Lead meetings, manage data calls, and track milestones and risks
• Support PMO maintenance, MoC alignment, and policy Improvements
• Supervise functional Team Leads and support staffing and subcontractor coordination
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure deliverables meet SOW/PWS requirements
• Monitor progress with milestone tracking and issue logs
• Ensure timely responses to urgent taskings and audits
