Job summary

BOOST LLC is hiring a Deputy Program Manager on-site in Chesapeake, VA, to support StratasCorp Tech in governing contract execution and program oversight. The role requires leadership, schedule management, and coordination across teams with a focus on delivering milestones and compliance in a defense contracting environment.

The candidate will work closely with the Program Manager, interface with government leadership, and supervise Team Leads while helping to modernize internal policies and PMO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project/program management, information technology, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of Deputy Program Manager experience.
• Experience with DoD contracting and government customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deputy to the Program Manager, lead meetings and interface with government leadership.
• Coordinate with government customers and stakeholders.
• Oversee team certifications and training for staff.
• Directly supervise functional Team Leads.
• Ensure SOW/PWS alignment with work packages and subcontractor activities.
• Maintain a PMO and track milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
• Manage daily program activities and monitor priorities and deliverables.
• Identify and escalate schedule or performance risks to the Program Manager.
• Support data calls, quality reviews, and customer audits.
