Job summary

Athena Technology Group, Inc. (ATG) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to oversee subject matter experts delivering IT support to Government clients.

You will coordinate and implement high-level program initiatives, delegate tasks, and help define milestones and timelines. The role requires a Secret clearance, a BS in CS/IT/Cybersecurity, 8+ years in cybersecurity program management, PMP certification, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity program management.
• Current PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with federal government cybersecurity requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the secondary point of contact for all contractual, administrative, and performance matters.
• Support overall leadership, resource planning, and coordination to ensure call order deliverables and timelines are met.
• Act as primary leader when Program Manager is unavailable.
• Support budget planning and funding.
• Support project milestones and deliverable tracking.
• Support Coordination efforts across government personnel, contractors and, and vendors.
• Interfaces with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to resolve any issues and report status.
• Support planning, execution and management of cyberspace operations systems initiatives across the system lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks.
