Job summary

Athena Technology Group, Inc. (ATG) seeks a Deputy Program Manager to oversee subject matter experts and IT personnel who deliver government IT support. You will coordinate projects, delegate tasks, and implement high-level program initiatives.

This role is contingent upon award of the contract and requires active Secret clearance, strong leadership, and experience managing cyber, IT, or defense systems.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• 5 years of program/project management experience
• U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's degree or higher

Responsibilities

• Serves as the secondary point of contact for all contractual, administrative, and performance matters.
• Support overall leadership, resource planning, and coordination to ensure call order deliverables and timelines are met.
• Act as primary leader when Program Manager is unavailable
• Support budget planning and funding
• Support project milestones and deliverable tracking
• Support Coordination efforts across government personnel, contractors and, and vendors
• Interfaces with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to resolve any issues and report status.
• Support planning, execution and management of cyberspace operations systems initiatives across the system lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks
