Job summary

Athena Technology Group is seeking a Program Manager to oversee SME and technical personnel delivering IT support to Government clients. The role requires coordinating complex programs, delegating tasks, and implementing high-level initiatives across the contract lifecycle.

The candidate should have a track record in program management for cyber/IT/defense systems, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
10 years of professional experience in program/project management.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience managing programs or projects supporting cyber, IT, or defense systems.
Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

Serves as the primary point of contact for all contractual, administrative, and performance matters.
Provides overall leadership, resource planning, and coordination to ensure call order deliverables and timelines are met.
Support budget planning and funding.
Track project milestones and deliverable.
Coordinate efforts across government personnel, contractors and, and vendors.
Interfaces with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to resolve any issues and report status.
Plan, execute and manage cyberspace operations systems initiatives across the system lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks.
