Job summary

Metis Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of complex aerospace and government programs.

The role involves assisting the Program Manager, overseeing operations, and managing personnel, subcontractors, and resources to ensure performance. The successful candidate will maintain customer relationships and ensure objectives meet cost, schedule, and quality targets while supporting improvement and workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• 8+ years in aerospace/engineering or systems engineering contracts.
• 3+ years in program management or deputy program management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and prioritization.
• Experience with government contracts including deliverables, schedules, and performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication and briefing senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of complex programs.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations and contract performance.
• Manage personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and resources.
