The Contractor Deputy PM assists the Program Manager in all aspects of contract execution. The primary responsibility of the Deputy PM is to assist the PM as liaison between the Contractor support team and the Government (CO, COR, PM) in the conduct of all services performed under this task order.

  • Have sufficient organizational, technical, and contractual authority within the Contractor organization to ensure access to personnel, resource commitment, and resolution of issues related to performance.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining business management policies and procedures for all task areas, including cost estimating, financial oversight, subcontractor management, deliverable schedules, and reports.
  • Ensure attainment and maintenance of task order AQLs.
  • Monitor compliance with small business participation goals (30%).
  • Manage and review invoicing functions; resolve discrepancies prior to submission.
  • Assist in refreshing the technical skills of staff as architecture and technical models evolve.

Qualifications:

  • Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 8-12 years of related experience with at least 4 years in IT program management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Assist in establishing project goals and plans.
  • Technical domain expertise.
  • Experience in client negotiations and senior management interfacing.
  • Decision-making impact on project implementation.
  • May supervise others.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
