Job summary

Strativia is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the Program Manager on DoD contracts, acting with full authority in the PM's absence. The role leads joint training, readiness support, quality control, security processing, and compliance across the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region.

You will supervise a team, coordinate staffing, travel, and regional taskings, maintain training records and performance metrics, and brief senior customers on readiness and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in joint training, readiness analysis, military training, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience on Department of Defense service contracts.
  • Experience supporting the Joint Training System, Joint Training Plans, readiness assessments, or military exercises.
  • Experience with quality control, security processing, personnel credentialing, and mandatory training compliance.
  • Operational Security Level II certification required within 90 days.
  • PMP or FAC-P/PM certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance.
  • Must reside in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Applicants must reside in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 30-50%.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily contract management, staffing coordination, reporting, and customer communication.
  • Manage execution of the Quality Control Plan and monitor compliance with performance standards.
  • Coordinate personnel security, credentialing, CAC processing, and mandatory training requirements.
  • Serve as the Operational Security Coordinator and ensure program compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Lead joint training support activities for assigned Northeast and Mid-Atlantic organizations.
  • Conduct support visits, workshops, readiness assessments, and training engagements.
  • Support Joint Training System integration and Joint Training Plan development.
  • Provide cross-region surge support as needed.
  • Coordinate travel, schedules, staffing coverage, and regional task assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, training documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Support exercise planning, execution, assessment, and after-action activities.
  • Brief senior customer personnel and provide recommendations regarding training readiness.
