This person will help review potential cases destined for the Board, draft submissions to the Board about Meta’s content policy decisions, and manage day-to-day case operations. We are looking for an analytical thinker with experience in law and advocacy (with an emphasis on legal writing) as well as strong project management skills.This position will focus on researching cases being appealed to the Board, understanding Meta's actions in those cases, explaining Meta's reasoning in written submissions to the Oversight Board, working with internal Meta teams to make process and policy improvements as appropriate, and organizing live briefings for Board members and staff.As a member of Meta's Content Policy Team, you will work closely with a highly talented and experienced team of subject matter experts on content and product policies. You will be responsible for understanding Meta’s policies and operations in order to best support the Board, our company, and the people who use our services.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and writing skills, will be able to critically analyze the tradeoffs and benefits of refinements to Meta's policies and processes, and will be able to communicate these issues effectively.
