Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a compassionate Deputy Manager to join our 11-bed care home for older adults, where care is person‑centred and delivered in a welcoming, homely environment.

You will lead the team, maintain high standards of care, quality assurance and governance, and support residents with dignity. Registration as a Supervisor with the SSSC is required, with SVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent and a willingness to study further at least to HNC.

Qualifications

• SVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent (minimum for registration with SSSC).
• Willingness to undertake further training to at least HNC level.
• An additional supervisory or management qualification containing supervision or management.
