SSCI, Inc. seeks an experienced Product Test & Evaluation Deputy Group Lead to build and lead a high-performance test organization for autonomy software and mission-system products.

You will own verification evidence proving reliability, repeatability, and mission-readiness at scale, across SIL/HIL, sensor integration, and flight tests. You will establish long-term test strategy, manage a new test engineering team, and ensure compliance with ISO-aligned QMS while partnering with QA on audits and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in test engineering, systems verification, or integration of complex SW/HW systems.
• Experience leading and managing technical test or integration teams.
• Experience building/scaling test programs and test automation for autonomy/aerospace/mission-critical platforms.
• Hands-on with structured test methodologies, requirements-based verification, and multi-platform testing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 processes and QMS documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise test strategy for autonomy and mission-system products across software, system, and platform levels.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary test organization, including test automation, build/release, field test and service engineers.
• Define test coverage models, gates, and go/no-go verification for releases.
• Drive test metrics, automation, and CI/CD integration to shorten feedback loops.
• Ensure QA collaboration and compliance with ISO-aligned QMS; support audits and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, field ops, and OEM partners to align test scope and acceptance.
