Job summary

Westlands Water District is expanding into energy and power, and seeks a Deputy General Manager – Energy & Power to build the function from the ground up. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Resource Management, or a related field.
• Seven years of increasingly responsible experience in utility resource planning and analysis.
• Experience in energy and power resource planning, regulatory compliance, and working with governmental agencies.

Responsibilities

• Help build the energy and power function from the ground up.
• Establish priorities, develop programs, and identify opportunities that support the District’s long-term success.
• Represent the District at meetings, conferences, and in industry forums; travel may be required.
