Fermi Inc is seeking an experienced Deputy General Counsel to manage the company’s commercial litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation disputes while providing broad legal support across its operations and portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have substantial commercial litigation experience, strong drafting and negotiating skills, and the ability to translate complex risks into practical, business-focused advice for executives and teams.

Formación

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; admission to Texas bar preferred.
• 7–10 years of full-time legal experience in litigation or in-house/firm mix.
• Substantial commercial litigation experience in state and federal courts and arbitration.
• Experience directing outside counsel and managing budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Manage commercial litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation disputes.
• Develop case strategy and oversee all phases from discovery to appeal.
• Select, engage, and supervise outside litigation counsel and budgets.
• Prepare risk analyses and settlement recommendations for executives and Board.
• Provide broad legal advice on commercial, procurement, and employment matters.
