Job summary

The NYC Financial Information Services Agency – Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) seeks a Deputy Entity Director to lead the Comptroller's Office Accounting Business Team. This role acts as second-in-command to the Entity Manager and coordinates between FISA-OPA and the Comptroller's Office on the City’s accounting system and ACFR delivery.

You will supervise seven Business Analysts, shape reporting, process improvements, and cross‑team collaboration, with responsibilities spanning

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree in accounting, finance, computer science, or related field with strong accounting knowledge.
• Four+ years of experience in accounting, reporting, or IT business analysis in a large organization.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and communicate with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in workload management, task assignment, and status monitoring.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for the Accounting Team.
• Support data requests, reporting, and requirements definition for FMS3.
• Lead business event planning, testing, and production deployment coordination.
• Provide editorial review of bulletins and ensure clear communications.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to ensure system operations.
