Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico seeks a Deputy Division Lead (DDS) for Engineering Services to provide senior engineering management oversight across the division. Lead deployment of staff, staffing, and cross-discipline resolution of complex technical issues while advancing the Conduct of Engineering program as part of SMP.

The role will manage facility system engineering, modification engineering, and project engineering groups, balancing customer requirements with budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 12 years related experience, professional license (PE) preferred.
• Strong leadership and management experience in multi-discipline engineering teams.
• Experience implementing Conduct of Engineering (CoE) programs and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Conduct of Engineering (CoE) program implementation and performance.
• Develop engineering capability and integrate with operations, maintenance, safety, QA, procurement, and project management.
• Engage with customers at all levels to align objectives and plan long-term execution.
• Act as Design Authority for Facilities as delegated by ES Division Leader.
• Manage division-level finances and resources; ensure safety and environmental performance.
• Participate in ALDFO management team initiatives.
